Amitabh Bachchan a “Common Man”

After striking a chord with the ‘aam admi’ in Kaun Banega Cororepati, Amitabh Bachchan is all set to star in a film ‘Common Man’ by director Shirish Kunder. Now if you are wondering who is Shirish Kunder? Let me tell you Shirish Kunder is popularly known as choreographer and Director Farah Khan’s husband. Though Shirish is a director, and he started his directorial debut with the film Jann-E-Mann starring Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar and Preeti Zinda but he and his film has been hardly remembered by the people. Now Shirish is busy with his upcoming 3D project ‘Joker’ starring Akshay Kumar.

Abhitabh Bachchan who was recently keeping busy with his new born grand child, confirmed the news on the micro blogging site twitter. “So finally a decision! Doing Shirish Kunder’s film ‘Common Man’, starting in a couple of months.. koi bhi insaan aam nehi hota (nobody is ordinary)” – Amitabh twitted .

Srirish is pretty exited about working with Big B, as this will be his first project with the megastar.” My dream to work with @SrBachchan finally comes true. Have waited for 6 years for the right script. And ‘Common Man’ is that film” – twitted director Sirirsh Kunder. He also revealed the fact that the essences of the writing of this film “Common Man’ is an inspiring that every person can relate to and inspire them to realize their uniqueness and achieve success through it. And who better than @SrBachchcan to conver this noble story and inspire every Common Man”

Shirish’s upcoming flick Joker starring Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha has already been wrapped and is in the post productions. He will start filming ‘Common Man’ soon. The director also announced that after filming this Bachchan starrer film he’ll start working on his other project ‘Kick’ which has Salman Khan in the lead. “Kick is happening as per schedule from May 2012. Common Man is just before that,” he further added.

We hope this ‘Common Man’ can actually connect with the ‘aam admi’ in real life. Here’s wishing the film all the best.
