Actor Hrithik Roshan whose array of hit films has put him nearly on par with the leading stars of the industry (read Shahrukh, Aamir and Salman) is now looking forward to his next big release in Karan Johar’s ‘Agneepath’. The action-packed flick that sees him sketching a vengeful character (borrowed heavily from Amitabh’s Vijay Deenanath Chauhan) is all set to hit theatres on 26th January, 2012.
As the clock ticks on towards that impending date, Hrithik is doing his bid to generate interest amongst the masses. There’s a lot of speculation about the heart-pumping action sequences shot for this flick with a lot of bloodbath involved. Why, even the posters & promos feature the green-eyed actor in a bloodied face.
Talking of the action sequences, Hrithik has gone on air to reveal that he found doing the action scenes quite challenging. That, coming from an actor of his caliber, is a big statement and certainly goes on to show the magnitude of action the director has attained with Agneepath.
Hrithik has also revealed that the film’s climax is a highly daunting affair and a scene which he describes as the most difficult one of his entire career so far. But, like a true marketer, he has refused to give finer details of the scene and asks his fans to go out and watch the film to find out. Like a magician, Hrithik has craftily set up a stage and conjured a crowd but is keeping the ace up his sleeves.
And if you didn’t know, his nemesis is none other than Sanjay Dutt who has acquired a hideous, menacing look for his villainous character. He has not just shaved off his head but also his eyebrows and it will be a pure delight to watch a hunky, muscular, vengeful Hrithik wage war with a lethal looking Sanjay Dutt. So, what are you waiting for? Make a date with them this Republic.
