Irrfan Khan puts new projects on hold!

Our very own Irrfan Khan is definitely going places as he is currently working on Ang Lee’s Life Of Pi which is based on the novel by Yann Martel and Marc Webb’s The Amazing Spiderman in which he plays the villain Nels Van Adder. Due to his current projects, Irrfan has had to refuse several top notch filmmakers as he could not find dates to do their projects which includes Deepa Mehta herself.

According to Irrfan, “I have received calls from top directors but I have humbly bowed out of projects that need to start immediately.” When asked about Deepa Mehta’s movie Winds of Change, he replied, “don’t have dates, it’s my loss.” Tightlipped about his role in The Amazing Spider-Man, Irrfan, who plays the villain Nels Van Adder, says, “I am under contract to not reveal anything. The makers have a policy about how they want to start releasing the information about the film.”

Irrfan recently returned from Los Angeles after completing a shooting schedule for the Spiderman movie and now intends to promote his movie Thank You along with director Anees Bazmee. He will soon be leaving to shoot for The Life Of Pi to Taiwan, Taipei and Montreal.
