Mumbai: The producer Hriday Shetty who has earlier made the popular romance film called “Pyaar Mein Twist” has apparently made up his mind to direct a crime adventure. And wait… This is not all as the director has also convinced Naseeruddin Shah to take part in this ambitious project. According to reports, Shah is very excited to work alongside Kay Kay Menon, Atul Kulkarni, and Ravi Kissan in the film.
“I’ve never worked with Atul Kulkarni, Menon and Ravi Kissan before. It looks like a whole lot of fun. I am looking forward to it,” said Naseer in a recent interview. He is not the only one happy about this collaboration as Ravi and Atul have also said that they are “super excited” to work for the first time with Naseer. So all of the sudden, Naseer finds himself to be more occupied that he has ever expected to be.
The actor wanted to add that he accepted the part due to the director Shetty “That’s because I got this other offer from Hriday Shetty, which I really liked. It’s a virile rugged funny film. Otherwise theatre remains my first love. I will be doing George Bernard Shaw’s ‘Arms & The Man’ on stage very shortly.”
While we’re on the subject, Hriday is Rohit Shetty’s step-brother. However according to Naseer they tend to do really different movies. Naseer was returning from a very fulfilling sojourn in Nepal, where he has supervised a workshop and said reporters “They have some really talented
actors. But no film industry to speak of. Their films are just imitations of Bollywood. But I must say I fell in love with Nepal. I’ve never seen so many beautiful women in one country before.”
Anyway, we have to say that we cannot wait to see the outcome of this ambitious collaboration.
