New Delhi: The old passion that Prateik Babbar has been keeping a secret has just been revealed. Apparently the actor has a strong passion for football. He is not only an ardent fan, but an excellent goal-keeper and an outstanding forward player. His passion made him consider joining the Salgaocar Sports Club. In Vasco, Prateik has trained at a football club, and now he has plans to purchase a river-facing house at North Goa.
In between his preparations for the remake of the Tamil film “Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa” by Gautam Menon, the actor likes to relax with a good football match. Prateik has been very involved in the film, and he insisted even before shootings started that they should begin on an auspicious day, on Gudi Padwa. In this film, the actor will be doing for the first time that a romantic solo lead.
“My Friend Pinto”, the other production that Prateik has been working on is now ready, and we expect to see it hit the theaters mid 2011. He has several other projects he is handling at the moment, as he just finished “Aarakshan”, and is now busy with the promotion of “Dum Maro Dum”.
