As per latest reports doing the rounds, after Aamir Khan breaking and making box-office records with his villainy act in ‘Dhoom: 3’, it is now superstar Shahrukh Khan who has been offered to play a villain this time! No, not in the ‘Dhoom’ series but in the ‘Race’ series.
If latest reports are to be believed, director duo Abbas-Mustan recently offered King Khan to play a baddie in the third installment of ‘Race’, ‘Race 3’ and, as reported, the character was sketched like Aamir’s character was in ‘Dhoom: 3’.
But did Shahrukh accept the offer? Well, no.
It is learnt that the dimpled star wasn’t excited enough to break away from his good-boy image that he has made in the last two decades and, hence, turned down the role.
Revealed a source, “Shahrukh has worked with the director duo during his early years in ‘Baazigar’, in which he had played a grey character but he has passed the offer this time. SRK politely told the directors that he didn’t feel the audience would accept him in such a dark role now.”
SRK, who is currently busy supporting his IPL team and shooting for ‘Happy New Year’ is eyeing for the Diwali release for his movie and will chalk out his future projects after that only.
