Bips & Her Crazy Russian Fan

The name Bipasha Basu needs no introduction. She started her career in Bollywood as a bold and sexy girl in ‘Ajnabee’ and then continued to amuse the audience with her dynamic performances in movies such as ‘Raaz’, ‘Jism’ and so on. She redefined the role of an item girl in Bollywood with her mesmerizing performance in the song ‘Bidi Jalai Le’ of ‘Omkara’. This song got the whole nation swaying to her tunes. Her oomph has appealed to people worldwide and she has also been voted the sexiest woman alive by many international magazines and websites.

Male attention is not new to Miss Basu. But on her recent trip to Russia, she was tailed by a man who was not at all willing to leave her alone. Bips took a break from her schedule and went to explore the local markets at St Petersburg. While exploring some shops having jackets, she suddenly realized that she was being followed. In order to avoid that person she decided to spend some time inside a shop and finally stepped out only to find that she was still being watched. After a few minutes she understood that this man was following her wherever she was going. Initially, Miss B did not bother much but when it was pretty evident that the man was refusing to let the actress go out of his sight, she panicked! She started walking faster but the man matched on to her pace. Hoping that the crowd of a coffee shop would deter the stalker, she tried getting into one, but with no success.

Help arrived only after Bipasha called her co-stars from the coffee shop and informed them about the stalker. Bipasha has confirmed the incident and said, “It was a scary experience”. The moment help arrived at the coffee shop, the man disappeared. The incident forced the unit to assign security personnel especially for Bipasha.

There is nothing to be sad for Bips’ fan following as we can catch this sexy siren soon in Abbas-Mustan’s ‘Players’, followed by the much talked about ‘Singularity’ with Hollywood star Josh Hartnett, which is also Bipasha’s very first Hollywood venture. She will continue to entertain us even in the latter half of 2012 with the sequels of her hit movies, ‘Raaz’. Rumour has it that the sequel of ‘Raaz’ will be shot in 3-D.
