Young actress Esha Gupta might still be called a newbie, but she is definitely creating a place of herself in B-Town, as her last two releases “Jannat 2” and “Raaz 3” fared very well at the box office. Both the films jointly earned a profit of Rs 100 crore. Now as her latest film “Chakravyuh” is going to release on the 24th of October, if this film too turns out to be a hit movie, she will be doing a hat trick in the very first year of stardom.
Esha Gupta is from Delhi and in 2007, she participated in the Femina Miss India contest and won the 3rd position. She was also the Kingfisher calendar girl in 2010. And then, this year in 2012 Esha went on to sign a contract with Vishesh Films to appear in 3 movies. She debuted in “Jannat 2” by Kunal Deshmukh. She was seen as Dr. Jahnvi Singh Tomar in the film. The second film on which she starred was “Raaz 3” as Sanjana Krishna. And very soon she will be seen in “Chakravuyh” as Rhea Menon.
Esha Gupta says, that people tag her as a lucky heroine, as she has given 2 hit flicks to the industry as a newbie. But as she has given hit films, she has got more responsibility to perform well in the upcoming movies and live upto to the name and fame Bollywood has given her.Today many people know her, when she goes out on the street, people recognise her. Esha says that feeling is simply WOW, and not only she, almost everyone craves for such recognition from others.
“Jannat 2” was a dramatic movie and Esha did not have much scope to show off her acting talents. But in “Raaz 3” she played a heroine in distressful condition. And in Prakash Jha’s “Chakravyuh” we will see the 25 years old damsel as a cop!
