The tinsel town sexy and hot actress Katrina Kaif has managed to top the Sexiest Woman list of the year 2011. The super star took Deepika Padukone’s place – who managed to win the same title last year.
We have to mention the fact that the Katrina Kaif has won the title in the past several times, as she was voted the sexiest woman again in 2008 and than 2009. If don’t know, this list is based on SMS and also online voting, which this year whopped 35,000 responses. The executive editor of the magazine FHM, Kabeer Sharma said that he would like to say that this year’s contest was a close call, but only Sheila made sure it was anything but.
The editor wanted to add that this is the only time since they have started to made the list that a woman won the same title three times. So Katrina Kaif winning the title once again made it even more interesting. In the last 17 years from when they have started to make the list, Katrina was the most appreciated woman by the readers of the magazine.
Apparently, the Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif has managed to replace Deepika Padukone – who won the title in 2010 – and also Sachin Tendulkar. The number of votes she gathered topped by a long shot the number of votes that other winners got in the past, said the executive editor, Kabeer Sharma.
There is no doubt that the actress seems to be the toast of the season, as she was the only actress from Bollywood to appear on the India Today’s Elite Power list, not to mention the fact that she is also the most searched celebrity from India on the internet.
