Vidya Balan is one of the most sought after actresses in Bollywood currently due to her sizzling act in Ishkiya last year and now according to the reports she has been chosen as the brand ambassador for the Sleep Awareness Month where she will be making her fans aware of the information related with sleep disorders.
According to Vidya, she has been suffering from the problem of insomnia from the tender age of 12 and she still has not found the solution to it. She specified that her weight issues were largely due to her lack of getting proper sleep. She also mentioned how lack of sleep can lead to major health disorders like diabetes, hyper tension and obesity.
She emphasized on the importance of getting a good night sleep of at least 7 to 8 hours which in turn could lead to a better metabolism rate. Vidya also shared about how she used to be fascinated with Shahrukh khan’s stories of sleepless nights where he would only sleep for 3 to 4 hours daily.
Vidya attributes her loss in weight due to her trying to sleep on time and making sure that she gets enough sleep. And it surely has proven to work wonders for Vidya as she has lost a considerable amount of weight thereby looking absolutely gorgeous.
