Item song, once considered to be like a slang term for the leading heroines of the film trade since these songs were limited to the cabera dancers and the item girls, are now loved to be dolled up by the top notch actresses of Bollywood. What a big money is involved in an item song!

Well, sensing the worth and the handsome money offered in these songs, the male brigade of the entertainment industry too has turned the face to item songs. Where the heroines are called item girls when they do these particular songs, the actors are termed item boys when they shake the bodies on these numbers.

The leading actors of Bollywood industry who recently did the item songs include Aamir Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt, Akshay Kumar & John Abraham and Ranveer Singh.
