My Name Is Khan, Filmfare nominations

Mumbai: We all know the film “My Name Is Khan”, which stars Shahrukh Khan himself. If there is someone out there who still has not seen the film, rush out now and watch it!

“My Name Is Khan” has been excellently received by the audience, and the critics as well. Just today, the film got no less than seven nominations at the Filmfare awards, the maximum of this year. Amongst these seven nominations, Karan Johar received one for Best Director, Kajol for Best Actress and the King Khan for Best Actor.

These are not all. Shankar Ehsaan Loy got a nomination for Best Music, Niranjan Ilyenga for Best Lyricist for the songs “Sajda” and “Noor-E-Khuda”, Best Playback Male Singer for the song “Noor E Khuda”, by Shankar Mahadevan and Adnan Sami and Best Female Singer for Shreya Ghoshal, for the same song.

On the second place for most nominations at the Filmfare awards, we have Salman’s Khan film, “Dabangg”, with six nominations, including that for Best Film.

This may be an extra reason for the two not to like each other.
