New Delhi: The filmmaker Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra had decided to shoot his comedy in Kashmir and Jammu in the winter, not caring about the four months of terror with over 100 deaths the past summer. Referring to the shootings as ‘the most peaceful shot’, the filmmaker spoke about his experience there, and said people came to help the crew in Gulmarg.
Rakeysh stated that they shot in Gulmarg for 45 days, which was completely snowed out, offering a million dollars sight. He described the place as the most beautiful, most peaceful and the best place to shoot a film in, adding that the people are extraordinary. The filmmaker even said that they had more problems shooting scenes in Mumbai.
The only problem they confronted there was with the weather. Getting caught in a blizzard, they had to postpone the shootings for five days.
The director of this bubbly comedy is the debutant Mrigdeep Singh Lamba. Entitled “Teen Thay Bhai”, the comedy stars Deepak Dobrial, Om Puri, Ragini Khanna, a TV actress who just happens to be Govinda’s niece, and Shreyas Talpade.
