Shilpa Shetty, happy to have team play in IPL

Bangalore: Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty, who is also the co-owner of Rajasthan Royals, is now relived to having overcome all the problems the association was faced with during the past year, and is now very happy that they managed to participate in the Indian Premier League.

The decision was made by the Bombay High Court, which just last month exonerated the Rajasthan Royals, and now they can play in the IPL-4. The reason for this is that the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) terminated the franchise, due to the ‘lack of transparency in the shareholding pattern’.

The Royals are the inaugural IPL champions, so the rumors going on are many and denigrating. The Royals have bought Rahul Dravid, Ross Taylor and Johan Botha in the morning sessions. The many constrains that followed this episode are not resolved, and Shilpa declares she is very happy to see the team ready to perform.

The team spent a whopping amount of almost $2 million for the three players, and are now sure they will be very successful in the new season.
