The weather in Dalhousie seems to be playing havoc with the schedule of the Ranveer Singh –Sonakshi Sinha starrer Lootera. The unit of Lootera had pretty much been stranded due to a snowstorm. The set constructed for the shoot got destroyed due to the same and while the unit members tried their best to save it, the intense snowing pretty much damaged the entire set. The crew now, it seems, is working non-stop to up the set again so as not to lose more working days from the schedule. That’s not all. The lead of the flick, Ranveer was stranded in Jammu airport (Jammu is the closest airport to Dalhousie where commercials flights land) on his way to location since the shoot was to begin last Saturday. On the other hand, Sonakshi who landed on Friday wasn’t able to get out because of the storm. “The set is in Gawar about 3kms from Dalhousie and pretty much secluded and hence the director made a call for everyone to stay back,” Phantom told Bollygraph.
Lootera is Balaji’s and Phantom’s first coproduction and is a classic love story, set in the 1950s. Directed by Vikramaditya Motwane of Udaan fame, the shoot was to start in Dalhousie when it started snowing. Lootera is set to release on Oct 26.
