Varun Dhawan, who is all geared up for his next release, ‘Main Tera Hero’ has more reasons to smile now. As per the reports of a leading daily, the young and talented actor has been signed up for the sequel to 2013’s successful dance film, ‘ABCD – Any Body Can Dance’. The film, which goes on floor soon, will again be directed by choreographer-turned-director Remo D’Souza.
While the first movie had launched many new faces, the decision to cast known faces in the second installment was taken as per demands of the scripts. Sources close to the movie claim that this time known faces were required for the title roles. Apparently, Prabhu Deva, who had a prominent role in the first part, will be having a smaller role in the second part.
However, the bigger news is that starring opposite Varun would be none other than Shraddha Kapoor. Shraddha, who had made a rather forgettable debut with ‘Luv Ka The End’, was one of the most loved actresses of the last year. Her lovely portrayal of Arohi in ‘Aashiqui 2’ had won her many hearts. She will be pairing up opposite Varun for the first time.
Interestingly, the Varun-Shraddha pair was a talk of the town after being clicked together few months back. They were apparently snapped having a cozy dinner together which was followed by spotting the alleged couples together in several public occasions.
However, an angry Varun Dhawan steeped and cleared the rumour, quoting they are ‘just friends’. “I didn’t know my love life was so talked about. All these are my friends, including Shraddha, the gorgeous girl, who I have known since childhood. It’s a school mentality, wherein if you are spotted with a girl, she is your girlfriend. It’s stupid,” Varun had told a leading daily.
Sources close to the movie claim that the makers are very happy with the final pairing, touting them as a hit onscreen couple. However, only time will tell how much magic do they cast on their fans.
