Mumbai: The director of “No One Killed Jessica”, Rajkumar Gupta has always had a crush on actress Rani Mukherjee, according to his crew members. The director used to just stop working whenever Rani appeared on the sets, and could not help but stare at the beautiful actress. Apart from that, the director was always finding reasons to be as closest to her as he could.
Everyone could notice what Rajkumar was feeling for the actress, and even insisted on playing in the film a cameo, the opportunity for the director to propose to Rani…her character, more precise.
The script demanded that a character was to propose to the character of Rani, and Raj insisted he would be that guy. He could not wait for the moment to ask Rani into marriage, even if it was just for fun.
Raj admitted that he shouted loud to Rani “Marry me”, but said that the role demanded it, and even if someone else was supposed to do the part, no one wanted to take up the challenge. It is, indeed, really challenging to say “Marry me!”
