Mumbai: Actress Mamta Patel, who was seen in Irrfan Khan-starrer film ‘Paan Singh Tomar’, received a threatening call from an unknown person, saying that she would have to face dire consequences if she spoke anything against the lead actor of the film Irrfan Khan.
Mamta has filed a report with Juhu police station, stating that she received the threatening call on Thursday, 22nd March, when she was at her Bhayandar-home. Senior Inspector Arun Bhagt has registered a non-cognizable offence against the unidentified person.
Mamta informed the police that the person told her not to talk anything bad about the acclaimed actor Irrfan, and if she continued to do that, she would have to face serious consequences.
If reports are to be believed, Mamta Patel was not very satisfied with her role in the film, as according to her, Tigmanshu Dhulia (the director of the film) and Irrfan had falsely promised her a good role in the film.
