Amitabh Bachchan, back for Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham sequel

The film “Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham” was well received by the audience, so of course the producers wanted to make a sequel. Well, at least this is what Amithab Bachchan said. Big B talked to the press about the role he was offered in a sequel for the film. In the first part, Amithab played the role of an authoritarian father. He was now contacted by Karan Johar to be part of the second part of the film.

In the 2001 film, Shahrukh Khan played the role of Amithab’s son. After Koran Johar returned from his visit to Goa, he told Amithab about his sudden urge to produce a sequel for “Kabhi Khushi Kabhi”. Karan confessed that he feels that all the characters who are important in the film are still around.

The movie brings together Jaya Bachchan, Kareena, Kajol, and Hrithik Roshan. The latter plays the role of SRK’s younger brother. The film would present the story of the brothers’ growth, as well as the problems they encounter in the process.
