New Delhi: The ex Bollywood actor, now a Bollywood director, Arbaaz Khan has been in the headlines and on the lists of all the major producers for their next films ever since he made his spectacular debut with the successful film “Dabangg”. After several arguments and disputes, the director has decided to direct the sequel of this great film as well.
The director Abhinav Kashyap was the one who helmed the film, has decided to stay away from the directing of the sequel, for reasons he has not divulged yet. Arbaaz posted this news this Thursday on his Twitter page.
Arbaaz failed as an actor after his first attempts in “Daraar” and “Hello Brother”, but when it comes to production, he hit gold. The scripting has already started, and the shootings will begin in the first week of January 2012.
“Dabangg 2” will hopefully be at least as successful as the first film, especially since the people working on the production are involved in the project. “Dabangg” was the highest grosser in Bollywood in 2010.
