New Delhi: Is there someone who hasn’t seen the Malayalam film “Bodyguard”? I doubt it. Well, for all the fans of the film, we have some good news. A Bollywood remake version of the film is set to start soon. The film will star Kareena Kapoor and Salman Khan in the lead roles. Co-producer Atul Agnihotri stated to the press that, despite all the rumors, the film will not be entitled “My Love Story”.
The remake will preserve the name of the original film, and the producer did not understand why everyone referred to it as “My Love Story”. According to the schedule, the shootings for the film have already begun, and the location of the first shot is Pune.
Reel Life Pvt Ltd, the production house of Agnihotri is co-producing the flick alongside the Reliance Pictures. The director is Siddique, in charge of both the Malayalam and the Tamil versions of the flick.
The Tamil remake of the same film was called “Kaavalan”, which starred Asin Thottumkal and Vijay. The original film starred Nayantara and Dileep.
