Directors and producers in Bollywood are really worried about their movies when Censor Board scans through the movie for the first time to provide them with the certificates. Most directors and producers want that their movie should get U certificate so that they can showcase their movie to all family audiences. However, this month there are two back to back movies that might not be made keeping in mind the family audiences because many directors now feel that audiences love different stories and concepts rather than just family drama.
This week the first to release is Desi Boyz that stars Akshay Kumar and John Abraham. However, in a shocking incident Censor Board has provided A Certificate to Desi Boyz which is something that the director just cannot understand at the moment. Rohit Dhawan, the director of Desi Boyz feels that the reason why Censor Board provided them with A Certificate is because both the male leads are playing male strippers. However, he said that there is nothing obscene in the movie for the family audiences and that the movie has been made for family audiences.
Soon after Censor Board slapped the A Certificate on Desi Boyz, they decided to slap another A Certificate to the makers of The Dirty Picture. There was no doubt that The Dirty Picture would get A Certificate because the subject itself is quite sensuous and sexy and therefore the makers already knew that in advance. However, the shocking event was that the Censor Board has decided that all the scenes of The Dirty Picture should be kept as it is. The Censor Board said that there was definitely nothing wrong with the dialogues when seen in the theater because the movie has already received A Certificate and that no kids will be allowed to watch this movie.
