Film festivals are the best places to watch some of the impressive movies that you can later see at theaters. Most of the time we keep hearing about our Bollywood movies being selected at Toronto and Cannes film festival, but now it’s time for the Mumbai film festival and this time there are more than 200 movies that are being showed at the Mumbai film festival and therefore the audiences have a lot to see if they are ready for some really great movies that are in the line up.
The Mumbai Academy of Moving Images also known as MAMI held a conference today where they announced that some of the best movies will be shown at the 13th Mumbai film festival and therefore it will be great experience for the audiences. The announcement was made by the Chairman, Shyam Benegal, Trustee, Amit Khanna and MFF Director Shrinivasan Narayanan. The Mumbai film festival will begin from October 13 to 20 and Cinemax Versova remains the main hub where most of the movies will be shown to the audiences. Hence, those who are interested in watching some really great movies should head to Cinemax in Versova.
However, there are other two movie halls that will also be a part of this festival and that will be Metro Big Cinemas and Cinemax Sion. The 13th Mumbai Film Festival will open with a movie called MoneyBall which stars Brad Pitt and the closing film which will be shown on the last day will be Dolphin Tale which stars Morgan Freeman. The festival will also showcase other great movies like Melancholia, The Whistle Blower, The Ideas of March and Pina. Talking about the festival, Shyam Benegal said that he is proud that soon Mumbai Film Festival is regarded as one of the best film festivals across the country.
