There are many directors and producers who believe in following the trend they have followed all these years because they would like to stick to the basics. However, Bhatts have always tried to experiment with their film knowledge and the kind of music they have introduced in their movies. While others have kept with the regular singers, Bhatts have introduced many foreign singers to Bollywood industry and with Jism 2 they are doing the same once again. Pooja Bhatt who is directing Jism 2 is now ready to make her dream into reality and has decided to provide a chance to one new singing talent not from India.
Pooja Bhatt created a trend in the Bollywood industry when she made Rahat Fateh Ali Khan sing Mann Ki Lagan in Paap. She then decided to give chance to many other Pakistani singers like Amir Jamal in Murder, Atif Aslam in Zeher, Mustafa Zahid in Awarapan and Bangladeshi singer James in Gangster. The next on the list of Pooja Bhatt is Mariyam Unoosha who is basically from Maldives and she recently sang at the South Asian Film Festival where Pooja Bhatt heard her for the first time and decided that she will be her next singing sensation.
This will be for the first time that Unoosha will sing in Hindi because she has never sung in Hindi before. Apart from Unoosha, Shreya Goshal will also be singing for Jism 2 because it was her golden voice in Jaadu Hai Nasha Hai that made Jism soundtrack sell like hot cakes. Pooja Bhatt has a requirement of six songs for the soundtrack and she is looking to make some really great songs that can help her cover up the cost of production even before the movie is released. There are some controversies on the lead actor as well at the moment.
