After the smashing success of “Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai”, director Milan Luthria is back with a sequel to the film, titled “Once Upon A Time Again”. The film will be a crime thriller, just like its predecessor. Ekta Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor will be producing the film.
The film will see Akshay Kumar playing the role of famous underworld don Dawood Ibrahim. He will be sporting three different looks, one of which was revealed at an award function on the popular TV channel Colors. That Imran Khan will be the other lead hero was announced recently in March 2012.
There have been several rumors regarding the female lead of the film. Kareena Kapoor was rumored to have been chosen to play the character named Mandakini. However, the director rejected this as just a rumor and announced that he had not yet signed any heroine. Besides Kareena, Deepika Padukone, Kangna Ranaut and Sonakshi Sinha have been rumored to play Mandakini.
The film’s story and screenplay have been written by Rajat Aroraa, and the music will be scored by Pritam. The release date of the film is not yet known, so watch out this space to find more!
