It’s the era of innovativeness and therefore directors want to do something different to attract viewers to movie halls. Most directors today are aware that viewers are very demanding these days and they will not take the same romantic love stories as hits if there is nothing new or fresh in it. Well, Sanjay Gupta is one of the well known directors in the industry and is well known for making great thrillers. Sanjay Gupta is currently working on Shootout at Wadala which is also a dramatic thriller and has decided to try something new for the movie.
Sanjay Gupta has now tied up with Strings which is a well known Pakistani pop band. The band will now compose music for the film. Strings have already been popular in India and they have already released many of their albums in India which has received good public response. Insiders revealed that both the Pakistani singers are in Mumbai at the moment where they are in discussion with the director and they are making music for Shootout at Wadala. Currently, not many directors have given chance to the Pakistani talent but Sanjay Gupta has decided to break the rules and go for Strings as they are very popular with the youth as far as their music is considered.
This is the second time that Sanjay Gupta has decided to tie up with Strings. Sanjay’s last directorial effort, Zinda also had one of the songs that was composed by Strings and the song was called Yeh Hain Meri Kahani and Har Saans. Apart from that Strings have performed for Apoorva Lakhia’s Shootout at Lokhandwala which was a recommendation by Sanjay Gupta once again and the band sang Aakhri Alvida which received exceptionally good response from the listeners. On the other hand, Strings already have various other hits like Durr, Dhaani, and Koi Aanewala Hain. Sanjay has said that geographies don’t really matter in creativity and art.
