‘Sunburn – The Movie’ – Coming Soon

The film mania on real life plots are back. This time it is ‘Sunburn” the biggest musical event of Asia that is being used as the platform. Soon the musical event will be showcased on the big screen as ‘Sunburn – The Movie’. Three giant production houses namely Viacomm 18 Motion Pictures, Percept Pictures and Phantom Films have joined hands to materialize this project. Phantom Films is owned by Anurag Kashyap and is leading the campaign. This time seven new directors are making their own reel life stories based on the Sunburn event which will be compiled together to make the film.

Sunburn is in the fifth year of its life history and it is already proclaimed among the top ten musical events of the world. This event has almost become a religion of its own for sunburn and music lovers.

According to Vikas Bahl of Phantom Films, Sunburn besides being the world class musical event, is also a great spot to collect real life great stories. The movie will be a mix of fiction and facts which were collected from the event. The movie was shot at the location of the event and even while the event was on. It took place in December.

Anurag Kashyap said that it is great work of Percept Pictures that they have made this event so big and popular and they are happy to join hands with Viacomm 18 Motion Pictures to bring the real life stories to the viewers through the art work of seven new talented directors.

The directors are Kaushik Mukherjee who recently became famous for his controversial film ‘Gandu’, Shlok Sharma, Rukhsana Tabassum, Vasan Bala, Rahi Anil Barve, Jason Taylor and Mozez Singh. The film which is under editing stage now is a perfect work which will be loved by all the Sunburn lovers and even the hardcore fans of music. The directors met with people in the event, interviewed them and handpicked stories which they remake putting n their skills. They have recreated real life stories to form a part of the upcoming movie. The movie will be loved even by people who like to watch films based on real life stories and so this movie targets a large volume of mass.
