The much-awaited music of Agneepath, the bigger project of Dharma Productions, has been out in the market. Karan Johar has made the remake of his father’s 90s superhit Agneepath starring Amitabh Bachchan in the lead. Johar has been doing his supremely best and leaving no stone unturned to make this venture with extra dose of entertainment and punch to lure the moviegoers. He wants the new Agneepath a blockbuster like the original made by his late father, Yash Johar. Starring Hrithik Roshan , Priyanka Chopra and Sanjay Dutt in the main lead, the music of the movie has been scored by Ajay and Atul Gogvale (Singham fame). Since Karan is famous for roping the trio of Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy or Salim-Suleiman on the composition side, he this time changes the path by brining Ajay and Atul to stockpile the tunes of the soundtrack.  Amitabh Bhattacharya writes the lyrics for the songs. Karan Malhotra, the debutante, directs this flick. Let’s check out what the album has to offer.

Chikni Chameli [Shreya Ghoshal]

The song has already become the super popular among the masses. Karan Johar has specially made this item number for the film’s promotion and he has done brilliant with the marketing of this number. Katrina Kaif was roped in to shake the legs and she, being the true item number specialist, did the wonders with this track. First Karan released the first look of the song then released the teaser and finally the entire song was released. This process fetched huge attention by the people and the song’s popularity got simply multiplied after multiplied. Katrina looks super sexy and ravishing in the song. Shreya Ghoshal sings with super ease and class. She portrays her skills of singing the item songs with aplomb. The spongy voice Shreya here appears utterly different. The instruments’ arrangements appear fantastic. The composition is superlative and foot-tapping. The lyrics have been penned aptly and are true fit for an item number.
