Aishwarya Rai to wear Chikankari sari and Anarkali styled costumes at Cannes

Mumbai: 65th Cannes Film Festival is going gaga with much oomph these days showing off the presence of the Hollywood and world celebrities on the red carpet where the big lot of the media persons happen to be there to click the pictures of these stars. Bollywood’s presence too is being seen as Mallika Sherawat showed her off with revealing gown and actress Reema Sen too ignited the space. Other Hindi cinema celebs too appeared and will begin appearing as well, as per the reports.

Well, we all have been waiting for the emergence of Cannes’s hot favorite lady Aishwarya Rai and it is said that she will appear at the red carpet event of Cannes on May 24 and May 25th. She is scheduled to hit the space according to these announced dates. A lot has been dashed off and being written and talked about her outfits to be worn at Cannes this year. But nothing has been revealed from the gorgeous beauty and her business manager. Even Bachchan family too did not utter anything about her appearance and her costumes to be worn on the occasion. Our little birdie took up the news that Aishwarya Rai will doll up the costumes designed by the famed Bollywood and fashion industry’s designers’ duo Abu-Sandeep. The duo of Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla is Bachchan family’s special designers and they are very close to Jaya Bachchan and whole Bachachan pariwar (family).

Last year Ash had gone with the A-Lister Armani and Elie Saab’s designed outfits and this year, she will go with the Indian designers. Ash has been the regular attendee of the Cannes Film Festival for last 10 years or so and her presence is much waited desperately.

She will be wearing true Indian costumes such as an off-whie Chikankari sari, fluid kurtas and one costume designed as Anarkali style. On her arrival on 23rd May, Aishwarya will be having a wardrobe session with Michael Angel, a New York based designer. Abhishek Bachchan will not accompany wife and daughter on this trip to Cannes as he is busy with the dubbing of his upcoming movie.
