  • After working with Rajnikanth in the latter’s return film Kochadaaiyan, Deepika Padukone has now picked up another film down south. The leggy actress has teamed up with the Endhiran director Shankar this time. Southern bombshell Lakshmi, on the other hand refused a Bollywood movie Bhindi Bazaar stating that she needs a bigger movie to step into Bollywood.
  • After bagging Jism 2, Sunny Leone is back in the limelight again! Her adult movie Black Shama is all set to hit the screen soon.
  • Though his debut film flopped, Nikhil Dwivedi is certainly getting a serious look up from the producers. The actor has been approached to play the role of Abu Salem in an apparent documentary on the Gangster. The actor has also been finalised for the remake of Sunny Deol starrer Arjun.
  • Zarine Khan, who is back in the news with Housefull 2, insists that she wants to do quality work and is not focussed on the number of films she does.
  • IPL seems to have affected many a films in the B-Town. The latest movie to be moved ahead of its schedule is Ishaqzaade. The movie is expected to release on May 11 a week prior to its original date. Ishaqzaade will now clash with Dangerous Ishq.
  • Subhash Ghai has insisted that he will fight hard to keep Whistling Woods running, but won’t involve the Government in any of the matters.
  • Contrary to the reports, Priyanka Chopra has still not been finalized for the Zanjeerremake. The only lead actor confirmed for the sequel is Ram Charan Teja.

  • Tarun Payra, a technician working on the Ravi Kisshen starrer Jeena Hain Toh Thok Daal, lost his life when he fell from a 20 feet high platform. The producers and the actor himself have announced compensation for the deceased’s family.
  • Neetu Chandra wants to be the Uma Thurman of Bollywood. Neetu has been training in Martial arts for past 11 years now and will be seen in an all action flick shortly.
  • Rakesh Mehta, the director who made Khuda Khusi, will now be officially directing his first Bollywood film Life Ki Toh Lag Gayi. The director had made his first film only for the film festivals where it was welcomed with huge acclaim. As such, he insists that Life Ki Toh Lag Gayi is his first film.
  • KRK, who has been highly critical of Kareena Kapoor recently, has fired another potshot at the actress. The Deshdrohi actor has quipped that Asin is a bigger star than Bebo. The actor had also taunted Kareena recently saying she looked like a ‘Fat aunty’.
  • Mahesh Bhatt has admitted that all is not so well between him and Nephew Emraan Hashmi. The legendary filmmaker was speaking on the eve of Blood Money’s success party.
  • Aishwarya Rai and Bipasha Basu will be attending the Cannes film festival. Actor Arjun Rampal has expressed his desire to showcase his eagerly awaited film Heroine at the Cannes Film Festival.
