Convict Sues RGV For Making Film on His Life

Mumbai: In yet another case of plagiarism in the Indian film industry, the veteran director Ram Gopal Verma has been sued by Emile Jerome who has been convicted in the Neeraj Grover murder case. The storyline of the movie is apparently eerily similar to the real-life case of Jerome. Jerome said that the producers of the movie had made false claims in court saying that the movie was not based on the convict’s life where the court had ruled in the favor of the producers and added that if the movie would constitute contempt of court, then the producers would have to face the music.

Emile Jerome is currently serving time for the murder of Neeraj Grover, a media executive.
