This happened before she starred in ‘Slumdog Millionnaire’ while she was a presenter for Zee TV’s travel show Full Circle. She went to present program on tourist spots in Afghanistan, when she spotted a suicide bomber in a car.
Speaking to media she said “We were on our way to one of the temples in Kabul, and we saw these people standing around, staring at this car, their arms folded. They calmly asked us to go the other way… The guy said, ‘You see that little red car? There’s a suicide bomber in that car, and it’s going to go off anytime.’ . Frieda added “He was so matter-of-fact… It was so sad. No one even knew who (the bomber) was. I don’t know if there was an explosion. We left the scene,”
Frieda after her Slum Dog success went on to star in films like You Will Meet a Tall Dark Stranger, Miral—in which she played the title character—and the box-office hit Rise of the Planet of the Apes. Recollecting her erotic experience with ‘Esquire she says “It was hard but it was a small crew, and they were good at not making their presence felt,”. She added “They didn’t go, “Quick!
