Mumbai: The dialogues of Madhur Bhandarkar’s on the sets film Heroine have been lost. The writer of the movie Niranjan Iyengar’s laptop got stolen from outside the office of Karan Johar. The laptop carried the script of Heroine.
Bhandarkar’s film has once again faced sentry post – initially it landed into troubles when Aishwarya Rai left the movie due to her pregnancy and the movie got shelved. But Kareena Kapoor came in to rescue the project and now the script of the movie got lost.
The story behind the stealing of laptop is that Niranjan was there at his friend Johar’s office and the laptop was in his car. And the thief stole it from his car parked outside KJo’s office on 22nd February. Upon learning, Iyengar instantly reached at Khar Police Station to register the complaint.
He confirmed the news to the media saying that his laptop was stolen and it carried the dialogues of Madhur’s film Heroine. He said that he was hopeful to get the laptop back but he knew that the chances were very thin. He and Johar were discussing on their itinerary for Karan Johar’s directorial venture ‘Student of the Year’ since for this, they have to go to Jammu and Kashmir along with the unit. Niranjan ads that he always goes with the unit members on film sets but now he is unable to move with Karan’s film unit since he has to be with Madhur on the sets of Heroine.
He says that he has to stay with the unit on the sets because of rewriting the dialogues of Heroine. He mentions that he does not have whole backup of the dialogues. He points out that he just have some chunk of the dialogues, which he had emailed to Madhur and now the remaining ones he has to rewrite.
Madhur confirms that Iyengar would be with him on the sets for rewriting the dialogues.
