Lifetime Achievement Award for Prem Chopra

One of the most famous Bollywood villains, Prem Chopra was recently honoured with the Lifetime Achievement Award at the India Film Festival held in Ireland. Chopra received the award from P.S. Raghavan, the ambassador of India to Ireland. Not just that, Avtar Bhogal’s Honour Killing, the film which stars Prem Chopra, was also screened. The movie directed by Avtar Bhogal is based on honour killings, which tries to create the awareness among the people and highlight the horrendous crime. In the year 1962 this versatile actor has started his career as an actor with Punjabi film Chaudhary Karnail Singh. The movie eventually won the National Award and he came under the limelight. But his major breakthrough came in the form of Teesri Manzil and Upkaar in 1966 and 1967 respectively.
