Madhuri Dixit to pay homage to past’s divas of Bollywood

Mumbai: The classy actress of Bollywood and the queen of Hindi cinema, Madhuri Dixit, who ruled the Bollywood scene in her heydays, has returned to the filmdom with much vigor and she is quite confident with her upcoming success once again. Well, last time her re-entry to Bollywood after the marriage was not successful rather that bombed badly at the box office with the movie ‘Aaja Nach Laye’ made by YRF. Now she has settled with entire family in Mumbai for the sake of making her career in Bollywood. Now it depends on the viewers whether they will approve of her entry into movies once again in her old age or not. Well, viewers of Hindi cinema are open to even oldies since the filmmakers design the roles which suit well to the age groups of the old stars (as Amitabh Bachchan and others have been doing) but the actual thing lies with the Dhak Dhak babe, will she be able to present the oomph she once used to have.

She has signed the film with Vishal Bhardwaj on her asking price which is too higher. Initially the filmmakers will pay her the price she asks later it will all depend on her market value – her box office worth. Currently she is the brand ambassador of fewer products and the TV channel ‘Life OK’.

This classy babe is now geared up to pay homage to the yesteryear divas by dancing on the songs spanning over the eras of 70s to date. This performance will be done for a television show ‘Jhlak Dikhla Jaa. The show has now been shifted from Sony TV to Colors which is why Madhuri has been roped in to judge the show else Sony TV had dropped the idea of fetching her as a judge after she became the brand ambassador of its rival channel.

Saroj Khan, who is behind all the hit songs of Madhuri Dixit, is going to design the choreography for this performance of Dixit. She says that this performance will be revealing the choreographer’s style as it used to be depicted in all the dance sequences of yesteryears.
