Saif Ali Khan says Agent Vinod will cross 100 crores mark

Mumbai: Agent Vinod is on way to generate the bigger ripples and buzz in the media and amongst the cinegoers. The promotional activities of the movie have been begun and Saif is taking every right move to get the publicity of the film in an apt lucrative manner.

Saif Ali Khan and his partner Dinesh Vijan have produced this spy thriller. Saif in a recent interview said that the movie had potential to cross 100 crores mark. Crossing 100 crores mark has emerged a new trend in Bollywood cinema and every other big producer wants the movie to doll up this. Recently we heard about Karan Johar’s Agneepath crossing 100 crores mark.

The reports say that the film would be released both in single screens and multiplexes. It was revealed that the movie was made with the whopping budget of Rs. 60 crores and got finished in 19 months. The reports further reveal that Agent Vinod will be out in 3500 screens worldwide including 2500 screens in India circuit. The release date has been finalized as 23rd March.

Saif Ali Khan, 41, is playing the main character in the movie opposite his real life girlfriend Kareena Kapoor. He also told that Agent Vinod was made keeping Indian sensitivities in mind. Saif’s business partner Dinesh said that Agent Vinod was a real fun flick with a true Indian hero to entice the Indians. He further told that the movie was a larger than life saga depicted on screen. He also added that the movie was filmed in more than 12 countries of the globe including Latvia, Russia, Riga, UK, Uzbekistan and India.

Saif, who mostly plays the mushy spongy or serious types of roles in movie, is going for an action packed film this time around. He told the media that he went for training for action in Vietnam for couple of weeks. He revealed that all stunts in the movie were done by him. Saif uttered that Bollywood had good technicians of world standard but we needed to have good writers. Pritam has scored the music for this film. The music will be distributed by Illuminati Films, which is owned by Eros Entertainment and Saif Ali Khan.
