Bollywood action hero Sanjay Dutt reminded media that he was the first to break the 100cr barrier as ‘Munnabhai’ and others just started following him, when asked for his feelings on joining ‘100 cr4 club’ with his successful film ‘Agneepath’. But he says he is never bothered about box office business in the film industry. He says even when ‘Agneepath’ success,he never bothered to go and ask every one on how the film fared and how much money it is minting at the box office. He said only Karan informed about the stats to him. He said he never thought about his age and the amount of work he is putting on but he is only following his role mode Amitabh Bachchan and drew inspiration from his comebacks. Sunju still remembers the compliment he received from Jaya Bachchan who once said ‘You’re a dark horse, the next super star after Bachchan…’. When asked about his starring in multi starers and guest roles, he said he says for him relationships are important than all other things. and recollects that he has given a break to David Dhawan and it was natural for him to do a guest role in his son Rohit’s film. Dutt however clarifies that he has stopped doing guest roles for free as he also has family to look after.
Speaking about his relationship with Rishi Kapoor after the success of ‘Agneepath’,he said “I’ve always known Chintu sir. I love him, Krishna aunty and their family. Ranbir has grown up in front of me. It was unbelievable when I saw Chintu sir do Rauf Lala’s role. He’s got such a baby face and I am so used to watching him in romantic roles, that to see him in such a negative character, and perform with such conviction, was a shock!”. On his future projects he says he is doing ‘Zilla Parishad,”Department’ and a film on Gujarat underground with Soham Shah,a south remake and action-drama directed by PS Ravikumar; “Son Of Sardar”; and “Khallas”. Sanjay signs off saying he wants to negative roles more devlish and wicked than ‘Kancha Cheena’.
