Mumbai: Ram Gopal Verma’s Department is in utter publicity even prior to the release. Well, the publicity if a movie starts getting before the release, a sure-shot good amount of audiences then emerges at the theaters. This might happen with Verma’s Department which has everything to entice the viewers from the item number of Nathalia Kaur to the big starcast to Sanjay Dutt’s specially added song that he will croon by himself. Now another attraction has been added to its flavor – a song ‘Thodi Si Jo Pi Le Hai’ (from Amitabh Bachchan’s movie Namak Halal) has been injected into the film.
It is a tribute to legendary Bollywood star Amitabh Bachchan and to pay the homage, Sanjay Dutt has been roped in to do the lead. The song has been picturised on Sanjay Dutt and choreographer Ganesh Acharya.
Ramu’s action packed drama will feature the remake of this classic song in the movie to entice Amitabh Bachchan and Sanjay Dutt’s fans. The original rights of the song, as per reports,, are being bought by the makers of the film. Bappa Lahiri, music composer, has scored the music whereas Sukhwinder Singh has sung it with gusto.
Ram Gopal Verma is much excited about this cult song for his movie. He says that like millions of others, he too happens to be the biggest fan of this song and he always wanted to picturise it and now he got a chance to do the same on Sanjay Dutt. He adds that it is a good tribute to legendary Bachchan.
The situation and the scenario of the song is that Sanjay Dutt, the deadly cop in this movie, arrives at a club where he bonds with his force to have a great time in this party ambience. In the original track, Amitabh had danced with the women whereas in this song, Sanjay Dutt danced with Ganesh Acharya.
The film will hit the screens on May 18th.
