Mumbai: Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan’s rivalry does not seem to be ending at all rather it is being stretched by both the stars. Both are superstars in their own stature and both have their own big fan following not only in India but also across the globe. Both the stars do not seem to come forward to shake hands with each other to re-continue their broken friendship. Many efforts were done by the industry insiders and the friends but the rivalry is much solid like a cliff. Well, this rivalry also comes at the box office. Whenever their movies are slated for release, one of them postpones the release date so that the movies cannot find any competition at the ticket window.
The same is going to happen now once again. Shah Rukh Khan has postponed the release date of her upcoming film, ‘Chennai Express’ because of Salman Khan’s film Brindavanam’s Hindi remake as both the films were slated for same release date.
Salman Khan is a box office ruler for last few years and the fact remains that for last two-three years, his every movie works big time at the box office churning out bigger business for the makers. He is enjoying the prime career these days.
It has also been witnessing that Salman Khan’s movies which release on Eid hit the jackpot always. His upcoming film Sher Khan was scheduled for Eid 2013 release. When Shah Rukh Khan came to know, he postponed the release date of his Chennai Express to avoid clash with Salman. But when Sher Khan was kept under wraps, Salman Khan and Sohail Khan planned to churn out the Hindi remake of Brindavanam and they decided to release it on Eid 2013.
When Shah Rukh got aware, he instantly changed the date of Chennai Express.
