Sunny Leone may be eyeing Bollywood roles opposite established actors like Salman Khan or under popular banners like the Bhatts. But there is one actor who isn’t too pleased with India’s new poster girl. Amar Upadhyay, who catapulted to fame playing Mihir Virani in Ekta Kapoor’s ‘Kyunki Saans Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi’, is furious at the allegations raised by the US porn star during her recent interviews.
Sunny and Amar had spent a few days together inside the famed (or ill-famed) house of ‘Bigg Boss’ in the just-concluded season 5. After walking out of the house, Sunny had publicly alleged that Amar had tried to get physically cozy with her during the tasks set by the Bigg Boss. For instance, the fact that Amar kissed her hand in an episode didn’t go down well with the hot lass who saw this as an assault on her personal space.
Amar, who has been on the receiving end of her barbaric accusations, is now seething in fury and has lashed back at her citing that she is trying to fool the Indian public. He maintains that she is making a huge hue & cry over his hand-kissing gesture which, he says, wasn’t done with any sexual intention. Amar questions the integrity of Sunny and wonders in sarcasm how will she play the lead role in ‘Jism 2’ where she will, certainly, be kissed on body parts other than just the hand.
Amar also defends himself citing that he has been in the industry for close to two decades and is respected by all the women he has worked with so far including the likes of Smriti Irani and Divya Seth. He goes in the accusatory mode and remarks that Sunny is throwing mud on him to garner cheap publicity. Amar also holds her blameworthy for titillating the youths & teens of India with her overtly sexual image.
We quote Amar, “She is ruining the psyche of 12-year-old boys in India, who are now doing google search on her after reading about her pornographic escapades and seeing her on telly.”
While Amar is a respected veteran actor, Sunny is the new candy girl basking in the limelight. It’s to be seen who wins the war of the words…
