Veena Malik’s Channo deleted for Anna Hazare

Mumbai: Veena Malik, the controversies’ favorite kid, is the one who is all the time in controversies. And when there is no buzz, she does something weird to be landed on the headlines. Well, her item number ‘Channo’ has been creating huge buzz in the media. Malik shows plenty of skin show in the item number. Even many said that the song’s essence has been copied from Katrina Kaif’s item number ‘Chikni Chameli’ from Agneepath. But she and the makers denied it that they copied or took the concept from Chikni Chameli.

The song ‘Channo’ has been pictursied for the film ‘Gali Gali Chor Hai’ starring Akshaye Khanna, Shriya Saran and Mugda Godse. The film’s subject is corruption in India and the movie also is based on the agitation of Anna Hazare against the corruption. Since the subject of the movie is on Anna Hazare’s campaign against corruption in the country, the makers of the film liked to the screens the film especially for Anna Hazare. The special screening was done for the social activist but prior to be screened, the item song of Veena Malik got deleted from the movie since it carried huge skin show and vulgarity.

Akshaye Khanna too revealed the fact that the makers liked to project the film to Anna Hazare as crispy as possible, which is why the item song was deleted from the movie. Well, it is clear that the item songs are normally added in the movie just for creating the hype of the movie and they have nothing to do with the story of the film. Thus Channo too has nothing to do with the flow of the film or the story as well. This deletion of the same did not affect the film at all. The actors in the movie tried using the Gandhian approach.
