Post this movie, Bachchan then did not look back in his career and he went on and on grabbing huge success and turned to be a mega star.
Zanjeer was directed and produced by the famed yesteryears’ filmmaker Prakash Mehra. Jaya Bachchan had enacted the leading lady in the movie – the role of a street performer. Instead of enacting a street performer, Chopra will also be essaying the role of a lively NRI café owner. To play the most powerful character of Amitabh Bachchan (the role of a cop), famed star of south cinema Ram Charan Teja has been fetched in. With this film, Ram Charan will make his Bollywood debut and let’s see if he generates a good fan following here in Bollywood as well.
Amit is also in talks with Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan for the specially knitted characters in this movie. They are yet to give their nods to the filmmaker. Even Priyanka too has not said ‘yes’ to the offer but she has flaunted her interest in the project.
