Chennai: R. Madhavan is a classy actor and his acting skills are not hidden from anyone. Moviegoers in Bollywood and south both are aware of his marvelous acting prowess. The talented actor recently lured the souls of the audiences with the south movie ‘Vettai’, which released last week and has been on way to create the success ripples in India and even abroad.
The film stars Madhavan, Sameera Reddy, Amala Paul and Arya in the main leads. The box office reports say that Vettai is brilliant in collections both in India and abroad. As per the reports, the movie got released worldwide in more than 550 screens and it is called as one of the colossal releases of south released in the world ever. The international market where the movie was released includes America, Canada, Australia, Holland and Germany. In Tamil Nadu area alone, Vettai was shown on 330 screens.
The technical unit of the film too is much intelligent and apt in the trade such as Nirav Shah in cinematography, Yuvanshankar Raja on composition, Muthukumar on dashing off lyrics and Brinda Sarathy penning down the dialogue of the movie. R. Madhavan and Arya played brilliant as siblings and their onscreen presence made the movie utter successful among the masses.
Conversely, we have learnt that the famous National Award winning gorgeous actress Shobana has been roped in to play a strapping role in Rajnikanth starrer much in talks movie ‘Kochadaiyaan’. She has also played a love interest of Rajnikanth in Mani Ratnam directed venture ‘Thalapathy’. And now she is all set to enact in Rajni’s movie once again.
This flick will be the first project post Rajni’s health recovery. The movie is to be directed by Rajni’s daughter Soundarya. It has been learnt that the music will be composed by none other than Academy Award winner composer A R Rahman whereas K S Ravikumar has written the script and the dialogues of the movie.
