Chennai: Malaika Arora Khan, the super curvaceous dancing queen of Bollywood who is also termed the biggest item girl of tinsel town, has moored the belts to shake her hips on the item number in the Telugu version of Dabangg. The Telugu version is called Gabbar Singh and Arora is quite excited to work with Pawan Kalyan. She is re-entering the Telugu scene after the long hiatus of five years with this specially arranged song. The number is on the lines of Munni Badnam Hui (as the movie is the Telugu remake of the Hindi film Dabangg). Malaika had done Munni Badnam Hui and with this song, she shot to super heights of fame in the industry and among the masses in India and across the globe. She even has raised the fees for her item songs, appearances on events and shows and for brand endorsements post the popularity of the song and the movie which was produced by her husband Arbaaz Khan.
Malaika is again going to doll up another item song in the sequel to Dabangg and hopes are higher and expectations are on cloud nine about the biggest success of this upcoming item song.
Malaika has told the media that the item song for Gabbar Singh is simply amazing and she is quite allured by the magic of it. She believes that the number will be a big hit like Munni. When asked the further details about the song, Arora simply refused uttering words on it.
Malaika Arora Khan had turned down the offer to shake her hips on the Tamil version of Munni Badnam Hui due to some unknown reasons and she maintains silence on the matter. But for the Telugu version, she instantly said ‘yes’. The film Gabbar Singh stars Shruti Haasan, Abhimanyu Singh and Suhasini Mani Ratnam in the main leads.
