Producer: Anand Prasad
Cast: Prince and Nanditha
Music: Yashwant Nag
Anand Prasad’s productions bring in the Telugu movie ‘Neeku Naku Dash Dash’ that has been directed by Teja, who is known in the industry with the films such as Nuvvu Nenu and Jayam in his repertoire. The flick is the presentation of the banner of Bhavya Creations. Yashwant Nag scores the composition. The movie stars Prince and Nanditha in pivotal roles.
The direction of the flick is just about ordinary. It does not have any scope for the audiences. It cannot make the viewer sit till the finale. The plot is boring and the script is weak with many flaws. The film is not novel and also does not have any interesting factor for the viewers.
The film talks about Siva (Prince) who is the guy with straight forward nature and he is the one who always loves his pals. He is coerced to work in a liquor syndicate which is run by Bapinidu and his better half Chittithalli (Theertha). Siva starts loving a girl called Gayatri (Nanditha). Their love ends up with unexpected developments inside the syndicate. Because of Siva, a giant loss happens to the family of his co-worker and now he likes to correct his mistake. And for this, he can even put his life at risk. The syndicate’s force and the leader of the syndicate Bapinidu gets to know this and they all begin chasing Siva to kill him. What happens to him is what forms the story!
Teja is the director whose previous work tells that he is a brilliant story teller but what happened to him at this junction of Neeku Naku Dash Dash that he seems to be losing his usual genius. His creativity and skills seem to be taking the back seat with this film or he was in haste or wanted to take his eyes off this project. In short, he disappoints the viewers with this film.
He is not even complimented by the story and narrative, as both plot and the script are badly written. There is no novelty and interest factor in both of these genres of writing. The same love story with dose of action has been put into narrative to make a film on.
Cinematography is just about okay. Editing is average. Music is plain weak.
Prince does not impress with his acting. He even tries copying the style of Mahesh Babu in some of the scenes. This is not good at all – one should have his own style and own recognition. Nanditha is okay. Rest of the cast is just passable.
In a capsule, Neeku Naku Dash Dash is better to be avoided. Why to waste money and time on a product, which is not interesting at all? Thus it is recommended to stay back at home.
