Mumbai: India’s best dancer Prabhu Deva and the other biggest names of the choreography field like Ganesh Acharya and Remo D’ Souza have been put together at one platform along with the winners of the India’s much liked and watched dancing show ‘Dance India Dance’. Yes, this has happened and the outcome would soon be out to entertain the viewers.
The project tiled ABCD (Anybody Can Dance) is being produced by the colossal production house ‘UTV Motion Pictures’. The reports suggest that the film will be a 3D high octane dance fiesta – the first of its kind in Indian entertainment industry. The film is geared up to go on floors now. Remo D’ Souza, the ace choreographer of Bollywood, is directing this film. It is the dream project of Remo, who visualized and conceptualized it and UTV is making it happen. Remo has taken the finest dancers of the trade – the experts and the newcomers of the field in this film.
Prabhu Deva and Ganesh Acharya play the key characters in the movie that also features the Dance India Dance show’s winners such as Dharmesh, Salman khan, Vrushali and Mayuresh in leading characters. The global winner of the popular American dance show ‘So You Think You Can Dance’, Lauren Gottlieb has been roped in to play the heroine of the movie.
Siddharth Roy Kapur, CEO of UTV Motion Pictures, said in an interview that the house was thrilled to have this unique project that featured the brilliant dancers of the country and abroad. ABCD is the fisrt 3D dance movie of India.
Remo is utterly excited and he says that it is his dream project and he is thankful to UTV that agreed to back him.
Sachin-Jiagra have been taken as the composers of this film that is set to release by the end of this year.
