Mumbai: Telugu movie ‘Businessman’ has allured the audiences supremely and the film turned out to be a big hit. After the success of the movie, the sequel of the film was being demanded by the masses. The hero in the film ‘Mahesh Babu’ is the hot favorite of the cinegoers who simply love him and adore him high. Puri Jagannath had made the film. The Hindi version too was in talks for Bollywood to entice the Hindi language audiences. Now the remake in Hindi has been announced. Initially Mahesh Babu was to do the leading role in Hindi version as well but then the things turned to Abhsiek Bachchan’s table.
Ram Gopal Verma has been roped in to do the direction. Reports say that Puri was not happy with Ramu’s choice of Abhishek Bachchan in the Hindi remake. Puri was not happy at all with the disaster of Bachchans’ Buddha Hoga Tera Baap. Besides Puri was not quite impressed with Abhishek’s ongoing career and worth in the industry. Thus he wanted Mahesh Babu in the main lead for Hindi version.
But Ram Gopal Verma was determined to have Abhishek in the main lead since Bachchans have been quite lucky for Ramu as they gave him two blockbusters – Sarkar and its sequel. Thus he insisted Puri to give the role to Abhishek. Ramu at last succeeded in getting Abhishek in the film and he made it confirmed in the media that Abhishek was final in Businessman.
Businessman released in January this year and allured the audiences in regional cinema. The film made bigger collections at the box office and even broke the records. Now the question emerges in mind – whether Abhishek Bachchan would be able to bring the box office results as Mahesh Babu brought at regional box office? Abhishek’s career is not on boom these days – his movies are turning flops. So we can only wish him good luck.
