Mahesh Chinmayi’s directed venture ‘Saniha’ has hit the screens all over starring the likes of Abhay, Divya Sridhar, Ninasam Ashwath, Bimbica, Shobaraj, Chitra Shenoy, Raju Thalikote and Harish Roy. AM Neel scores the music for this movie.
Saniha is a pretty ordinary flick that has no potential or interesting elements to get involved with. The story is much drastic and boring. The script is laced with utter flaws. The direction is super weak. The film is the product which is taste spoiling and best to be avoided.
The film is a tragic love tale between the two lovers who are childhood friends. The lovers Santhu (Abhay) and Savitha (Divya Sridhar) blossom the love between each other as they hail in life. But their love is not approved by their families. The father of Santhu Rudraiah (Shobaraj) operates an illegal business of liquor in town. He is against the Savitha’s elder brother Ninasam. Savitha’s marriage is fixed with some other guy and Santhu does not want his love to go to someone else. He creates havoc and in this procedure, he is beaten badly. Later the big tragedy happens to both the lovers.
Mahesh Chinmayi seems to be lacking in the art of filmmaking. He is not a good story teller. He fails to generate the interest level for the viewers, who cannot hold themselves in theaters till the end. Making a viewer sit in theater till the end reels is an art a director possesses. But this director lacks in the required skills of filmmaking.
The story is pretty mundane and is devoid of any interest level. The script is laced with many flaws. Not for a single moment, the viewer finds this film alluring. And there is no single scene in the movie that captures the breath.
The music of the film is ear-disturbing. Cinematography is below average. Editing is poor. Dialogues are ordinary. The performances of the movie are badly delivered. Abhay disappoints the viewers. He needs to have training in acting. Divya enacts the role badly. Ninasam is just about okay. Rest of the cast is boring in acting department.
On the whole, Saniha is a super bad movie. Don’t even go near to the theater where it is playing. Avoid yourself from the bad effects of this flick.
