Mumbai: Dance reality show ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’ is going on air these days and the viewers have been watching with much care and interest. The show is on the international format and is on the lines of Dancing with the Stars which is a US dance reality show. In the US, the show is hugely popular and the audiences are crazy after it. Every year, the show is awaited much by the TV audiences in the US and the same happens in India for Jahalak Dikhhla Jaa. In both of these shows, the celebs take part to fight for the crown by showing their dancing skills to the panel of judges and the choreographers make pairing with the celebs to make them learn the dancing moves.
Jhalak Dikhlaa Jaa is being watched with utmost interest and the first to leave the show is none other than the ghazal singer Talat Aziz. It was an obvious decision since the outset that Talat would be the one to say goodbye to the show since he does not have any dancing skills even his partnet choreographer tried much hard to make him learn but the man is only apt in his trade i.e. ghazal singing. Frankly speaking, it is weird to see many faces on this show who do not know the ABC of dancing nonetheless they are taking part on the show – one of them is Talat Aziz and the other is Jay Suriya.
Other contestants on the show include the names child star Darsheel Safari, Ex Sri Lankan cricketer Jay Suriya, actress Isha Sharwani, comedian Bharti Singh (Comedy Circus fame), Bhojpuri star Ravi Kishan, TV actors Pratyusha Banerjee, Giaa Manek, VJ Archana Vijaya, Gurmeet Chowdhury, Jayati Bhatia, model-TV presenter Shibani Dandekar and the winner of KBC Sushil Kumar.
The show’s judges on the fifth season of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa are Madhuri Dixit, Karan Johar and Remo D’Souza. Jhalak is being aired on Colors channel.
