Aditi Rao Hydari was born in the year 1978 in Hyderabad in a Muslim family. Aditi Rao is half Konkani and half Hyderabadi Muslim by birth. Aditi Rao Hydari currently is a 33 year old Indian film actress by profession and she started her acting career in the year 2006. Aditi Rao is also a classical Bharatanatyam dancer and she started learning this dance form at the age of six and was a disciple of the highly acclaimed dancer Leela Samson.
Aditi Rao Hydari made her acting debut in Malayalam film called ‘Prajapathi’ in the year 2006. But she came in limelight in the year 2007 when she did a Tamil film called ‘Sringaram’. This movie was based on classical dance and she had played the lead role in the film. Her performance in that film won her critical acclaim and the film went on to be a huge critical success and even won three National Film Awards. But after that she did a string of Hindi films though not many. She was seen in the roles of supporting actress in the 2009 released ‘Delhi 6’ and then in the 2011 released ‘Yeh Saali Zindagi’. She was last seen in the film ‘Rockstar’ which released in the year 2001. In this movie she portrayed the character of a journalist and was in the supporting role.









But the most recent of Aditi Rao Hydari’s achievement is that she will star in the lead role opposite Ali Zafar in the 2nd March 2012 release ‘London, Paris, New York’.
